The Triathlon Club 2020 report. Lots has been going on.
At the turn of the year, we had a full season of events lined up for the HMPS Tri club. Little did we know how things were to turn out.
Early on in the season, some of us raced at various duathlons. Gary Fellows, Lee double and Helen Lund all raced the Firefighters duathlon, Gary finishing as the fastest 50year old, and Helen posting a 53 minute improvement on last years’ time.
Stephen Woodus raced the Anglian water duathlon, a qualifier for the ETU duathlon championships. In windy and wet conditions, he finished 5th in his age group, giving him a qualification spot for 2021.
