PSSA Cycling is a cycling club and race team run for all who work within HMPPS. We have been in existence for 5 years and are an affiliated club with both Cycling Time Trials and
British Cycling. We are a multi-discipline cycling club with members racing and riding in Road, Time Trial, Mountain Biking XC, Cyclo Cross and Enduro. We offer members financial support to ride and race in selected events across the country from sportives, races and 24 hour team events. We want all our members to have an opportunity to ride; we have members who are racing at national level, to members who are new to cycling representing PSSA Cycling.
PSSA Cycling are supported by their kit supplier Nopinz for all on bike and off bike kit, thus
making sure we have access to the best cycling kit possible.
Our main focus each year is on the Emergency Services Road, TT and Mountain Bike
Championships where we race against the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services. The racing is
hard but also friendly.
Every two years we send a team to the World Police & Fire Games to race against the best riders from other countries emergency services. These games are held all over the world and have seen members race in America, China and Ireland.
Nationally, the Club has achieved some massive results, with top 10 and top 20 finishes in both road and mountain bike 24 hour races.
Looking forward, we hope to continue our growth and offer our members the support they
need to represent PSSA Cycling at local, regional, national and international events.
If you think you are not good enough, then think again, we will help you get to the start line and will only put you in teams you are comfortable with to ensure you have a great time with us.
